Almost three years in the making, it is a wonderful nostalgia filled book containing historical information on the printed tablecloth from the Victorian Era to the 1950's, information on major manufacturers, styles and trends in kitchen design and thier influence on tablecloth manufacturing, a stain guide, wonderful whimsical crafts and lots of beautiful pictures of vintage tablecloths. It contains an accurate current, price guide. I also have researched information on dyes, printing process, and tags and manufacturers for a section on "Dating your tablecloths" so you can have a more accurate way to date your own collection. This book will finally give the tablecloth collector a useful resource and provide lots of interesting information on the printed tablecloth. It is available almost everywhere!
