
There are many reproductions tablecloths on the market today that can be confusing for the vintage tablecloth collector. Most reproductions I have found either still retain the original labels or are correctly represented as "reproductions" but a few sellers are misrepresenting them as "vintage." They ususally have thin, course material, with dull flat dyes and are hemed on with wide hems on all 4 sides. Here are some of the current reproduction "vintage tablecloths" that are on the market today. The current reproductions of many Wilendur and startex patterns only come in 60" squares. Neither one of those company manufactured that size - so ask your seller for an accurate measurement. Many of these are based on vintage designs that can also be found, so do a quick check if you suspect you have a reproduction.
